Authors: S. Prakash , R. Reji Kumar, R. Christu Pauldownload

Abstract:
The sophistications arising out of the tremendous studies on advanced material development reveal the significance and magnitude of applications to be catered by natural fiber composites in diverse industrial products. . In view of this, the present investigation is undertaken with an aim to use the human hair fiber as reinforcement with the Epoxy LY554 by hand lay-Up technique. The fiber reinforced polymer composites were subjected to thermal measurements for determining its stability at high temperature. The fabricated natural fiber reinforced composites with various compositions were subjected to microstructure analysis. The composites synthesized were subjected to various characterization techniques to evaluate the quality, strength and material integrity. The results of the characterization reveal higher strength, higher quality and good material adhesiveness and structural integrity.

Authors: C. Anil Kumar Reddy, J. S. Soni, N. Kamalakar Reddy, P. Mura Harish, V. Pavan Teja, C. Gnaneshwar download

Abstract:
In aerospace application, most of the structural components made of aluminum, magnesium, stainless steel alloys, because of their low weight to high strength ratio. The quality and reliability requirements are stringent. Welding of this stainless steels is a challenging task. This topic deals with the design aspects of welding fixture for nozzle which is used in rocket motor case. The welding fixture consists of fourteen parts which are to be assembled and nozzle casing is welded over it without ovality, distortions and other weld defects. And Material used is Stainless steel For TIG Welding . This paper highlights the design aspects of welding fixtures considering the quality and reliability requirements it highlights various important features of the fixtures such as backup, purging arrangement, spider mechanism, heat sink, clamping arrangements and collapsible system for ovality This paper also discusses the difficulties faced during design and welding of stainless steel components which are made up of thin rolled sheets.

Title of the Paper:  Machinability Studies of Nickel Based Super Alloys on Abrasive Waterjet Machining
Authors: S. Saikumar, J. Raghavender, K. Koushik, M. M. Gopala Krishna, Dipesh Poplidownload

Abstract:
CMSX-4 is an ultra – high strength, single crystal advanced nickel based superalloy. It is a directionally solidified single crystal superalloy. This second generation rhenium-containing, nickel-base single crystal alloy is capable of higher peak temperature/stress operation of at least 1163°C. CMSX-4 is extremely difficult to machine by using conventional machining processes. In this project work, we have used the OMAX 55100 Jet Machining Center for cutting the CMSX-4 specimen samples of gas turbine blades. Five different levels of quality were employed ranging from quality 1 to quality 5. It was observed that as the cutting quality increases the MRR decreases. An inverse proportionality relation was observed between the traverse speed and cutting quality, surface finish

Title of the Paper: Finite Element Analysis of High Pressure Titanium Spherical Pressure Vessel
Authors: G. Krishnaveni, J. S. Soni ,C. S. K. Prasad Rao , D. Krishna Vamshi, D. Ajay Kumar, L. Lokesh download

Abstract:
Pressure Vessel is a enclosed container designed to hold or to store compressed air at a pressure substantially different from the ambient pressure. Different shapes of pressure vessel exist but mostly cylindrical and spherical are used. Spherical pressure vessel are theoretically two times stronger than cylindrical ones. A spherical thin walled pressure vessel prepared by Titanium designed using software CREO and then carried out by using ANSYS. Structural analysis is done for this vessel made of Structural Steel which works at pressure of 100 bar and 440 bar. The fluid analysis is also done on Spherical Pressure Vessel and Velocity streamline flow.

Authors: Nagarjuna Pitty, R. Madana Mohanadownload

Abstract:
Over the past half-decade MOOC’s are very much popular and not possible to ignored in academic librarian’s at information science education. The librarians’ involvement in open access software’s are essential to realize the democratizing of higher learning institutions. This paper describes the concept and development of MOOC and also highlights the structure and features. The paper explains the challenges and roles of academic librarians in providing the best services to the MOOC environment. The challenges of academic librarians in the implementation of MOOC are obtaining copyright clearance, a possibility in providing instruction in information science education literacy to MOOC community and promoting Open Educational Resources (OER) to MOOC. This research article will be explaining and discuss the future of MOOC and its implementation in India.

Title of the Paper: Design and Analysis of Turbine Blade by Using CATIA and ANSYS
Authors: C. Anil Kumar Reddy, J. S. Soni, D. Arivand, G. Sai Chand Goud, K. Rakeshdownload

Abstract:
As there is need of power everywhere, there will be a huge usage of machine to generate, store and use the power. Turbines has major role in power generation. As the machine is being used, there will be wear and tear of the machine. So, proper maintenance have to be done for the proper functioning of the turbines, or good material have to be used in the manufacture of the turbines to attain long run of the turbines.
The aim of this thought is to bring out a material used in the manufacture of the turbines which is less in cost, gives a long run and can with stand all the properties required in required condition. Here, we took three samples of materials that are used in the manufacture of turbines and performed Static and Thermal analysis on the material in simulation software. All the modeling process is carried out in CATIA Software package, Simulation is done in ANSYS Mechanical Workbench.

Abstract:
Whenever the number of vehicles increase, the usage of the petrol increase respectively. The lack of petrol makes the price increase by time to time. The emission from the vehicle makes the environment faces the air pollution that in critical level. Many steps need to reduce the number of the vehicle in other side to reduce the price of the petrol. Besides that also use to reduce the air pollution. The big number of vehicles in each country makes the prevention to reduce the number of vehicle difficult. So, the other prevention is increase the efficiency of the vehicle’s engine. When the engine at the efficient level, the emission is at the low level and the most important is the usage of petrol is low. The prevention is reducing the weight of the body and chassis of each vehicle. This paper focused to reduce the usage of petrol by design and analyzing the chassis to reduce the weight of the chassis of vehicle. At the same time, the global usage of the petrol also reduced.
